With a map in hand, in search of his natural element — water —Il Palombaro moves among the crowd like an explorer of submerged worlds. But before he finds the sea again, something extraordinary happens: the streets fill with light bubbles escaping from his helmet, turning every corner into a small ocean of wonder.

Along his journey, Il Palombaro meets the audience — he plays, surprises, and sometimes even literally captures a child or two with his large net, in a continuous dialogue between comedy and poetry. Sometimes, things don’t go quite as planned… a puff of smoke fills his helmet, a sudden splash of water erupts — and everyone bursts out laughing! His arrival is unmistakable: you can recognize him by the deep, resonant sound of the abyss that vibrates from his diving suit.
